Focusing More on LIGHT!

I started going through my photos and realized I was just snapping away, not worrying too much about lighting.  Today I forced myself to focus on it more and here are the results.  It was a beautiful Fall day for a bicycle ride and some photography along the Cowboy Trail.

Scottsbluff Winter Sunset

This is probably one of my favorite shots ever.  We were visiting my home town of Scottsbluff, NE and were visiting some historic sites around the area when the sunset just lit up the sky.  This is an UN-TOUCHED photo that has amazing colors.  This was shot at 6:19 p.m. on 11/25/06.  The photo below is what the sky looked like just five minutes earlier:
