Randomness in my backyard...

Wanted to try out the new camera-Canon Rebel XS so I shot a few photos in my backyard (in case you are wondering, yes, I do like license plates).

I played around with these photos in Photoshop and the results are below.  I am still playing around with these photos and am not sure what I want to do with them.

I think this one is my favorite.  I like the way the plate looks older than it is!  I basically just used the "Quick Selection" tool in Photoshop to select both the license plate and the plant and applied the "Fresco" filter to both of them-adjusting the filter until I got the look I wanted.  Easy to do and I really liked the results.
